My extremely intoxicated photos from Sunday night. I took close to 100 photos and these are the only ones that came out semi decent.

Dispatch from the land of steady habits
Many things on the trail today. Made the drive from Syracuse to Albany last night. Slept for a bit and finished up by driving to Watertown today. Alex and ellie were great enough to make us dinner which was a nice change for the constant banana bread that has been my diet. Played at the Mit pit. Lots of idiots plague this basement but the music kept our heads above water. Chris Capella (spelling?! Forgive me) opened with his explosive band. It was their drummers 25th birthday! Here's wishing him a good one. Two humans played next and rocked the house. We all loved Kevin's mark bass setup. Sounds great and he plays great. We played a fun set to a small audience but it was a blast nonetheless. Nuncunt closed the night and everyone loved them. If you like piano drum pop duos with two female bodies individuals with voices like silk then nuncunt is the band for you. Lots of fuckers destroying our zines after the show right in front of us. Tried hard not to loser temper. Out came the pot and beer and cigarettes and I retreated to a corner. Furious with rudeness. Furious that these people were trashing our zines. Sometimes these shows are great nights for expression and art making. Sometimes they're really just a chance for people to party. Music is happening right in front of you people! It's happening right now! Put down the phone and stamp out your cigarette and listen. Man we didn't come here to party and mess around. We're here to rip your ears off, rearrange the innards, and sew em back on again. Life is happening now!! If we all kept in mind that in many parts of the world the chance to see a free show with four vastly different bands is basically non existent, maybe we could appreciate and love the shows we frequent a bit more. Many people in the world only get to see live music once a year or even less! How blessed are we in america to have a choice of music and performance every night?! Okay. For all my anger I am so blessed to be with my friends. I am well fed. I am healthy. I love my friends. I love my family. I love my girlfriend. And most of all I love music. We play in Trenton, NJ tomorrow night. Alhamdulliah!
