All dates with Mindy. 🙃 hulu.tv/CatchuponMindy
What’s interesting is that in one episode we watch Colette walk away from a stable comfortable relationship because she realizes she’s not deep enough in love, and wants better for herself. And then Mindy, who repeatedly says she doesn’t want to get married, decides to marry, presumably because the relationship is comfortable and stable. Colette ends the episode happy and energetic and sure. Mindy ends the episode with telling frown, one that doesn’t match the emotional words she had just uttered. Mindy and Ben are doomed. The frown isn’t what’s most telling. It’s the juxtaposition with Colette. Colette is being the person Mindy wants to be, but no longer knows how to be. The loss of Danny has really effected her in a way that was subtle throughout the season, but turned out to be incredibly life changing. Her confidence is gone, both in love and in herself. And she may be just now realizing how scary that is, and how deeply she’s been changed. (somewhat unrelated, does Ben have a last name?)
How could anyone think Mindy is better off with Danny than with Nurse Ben?? Danny and Mindy had one of the most toxic and dysfunctional relationships I've ever seen and I watch the CW!
When you think someone gives you a compliment.
I can't blame him for asking.

Oopsie-daisy.
I feel like the Loveless Marriage storyline ended *way* too quickly. I expected Mindy to fake it harder, to try to make herself feel what she didn't feel. I mean, it's healthier this way, but it seems really unrealistic to me. Especially because Ben's daughter was MIA the entire storyline. Wasn't she a big reason that Mindy married Ben?
