GUYS

i lost my fucking stethoscope last night. i had it when i did my assessments on all 4 on my patients last night. went to pack up my shit this morning at 7:30 am and no where to be found.

sound the alarms. if my coworkers don’t find it in a random room i will cry when i get back at 7 pm.

包茎の人の陰部洗浄してたら、一緒に入った男性看護師に「ちゃんと剥いて洗え」と注意され、慌てて洗ったら今度は「洗ったらちゃんと皮は戻せ」と注意された。 まるで自分のモノかの様に熱心に指導していた。 とても勉強になった。男性目線の指導って大事。 数少ない男性看護師は貴重。 でも多分包茎。

I was washing a patient with phimosis when a male nurse who came in with me said, “Pull it back properly and wash.” So I hurried to do it, and then he scolded me again: “Once you wash it, don’t forget to pull the skin back over!” He was giving instructions so passionately, it was like it was his own! I learned a lot. Male perspective guidance is really important. Male nurses are rare and precious. Though… he probably has phimosis too.

Work has just been a lot to handle lately. I admit I have a very fragile resolve. Blow after blow of near misses, miscommunication, and disappointments are giving me feelings of incompetence and not feeling good enough for my job. My morale is low, my energy to keep going is utterly drained, and my anxiety an all time high. I need a pause. I need a recharge. I need a great cup of coffee.

I know pretty much every senior spectrum agent's real first name but I have trouble remembering what cranial nerve does what 😳🙄

Thankfully LD nursing is specialised enough that I can refresh my memory on a case by case basis 😅😅
