This is a long shot I’ve posted it elsewhere before with no luck but let me try here.
A message for a fan who was at Porter Robinson’s Nurture tour in Minneapolis at the Armory in 2021.
This is an insane long shot but I have been thinking about you everyday since this show.
I was there with my wife and you were there alone, you told me you had driven in from Iowa to see Porter. Told me about your time in the military and how Porter got you through it, and how his music was helping you through your transition. You were wearing this cute little dress and you just looked so happy to be there.
For me it was more important to me than you could ever know. That summer I had spent some time in a psych ward after almost killing myself, Nurture was the sound track to me healing, I got back into photography and was spending so much time out doors, and a lot of that time I privately debated transitioning.
After seeing you I can remember driving back home after the show and thinking to myself if she can do it so can I.
I made myself a promise that in 2022 I would transition. And sure enough in early January I started that process. And I wish I had gotten your number or even your name or something so I could message you and just tell you how much I appreciate you.
I hope that somehow someway the universe gets this message to you and you can know how much of a difference you made for me, just by being so proudly yourself.
