Hey anon, thanks so much for sending this in! <3 You got it, let's see what's on the playlist for them both. I'm gonna be thematic this time, one song for each other them, but they're both songs from the same artist.
For Auran:
Lindsey Stirling Christmas song that isn't related to The Nutcracker? Yeah I know this is probably surprising, but it's the way the instrumental part of this goes that gets me. Every time I hear it, I can so clearly imagine him dancing up in a snowy mountain range in this very, 'Disney Frozen Elsa's whole sequence at the beginning of Let It Go' kind of way. He's himself, twirling amidst the drifts, the aurora borealis moving in time with him as he's IN his element. Free as the wind, free to be himself.
For Loraine:
Loraine has some real fantasy pirate energy sometimes. (this is not the only pirate song on her playlist). I think it's just the spirit of a high seas adventure that calls to me when I write her. The dancing on this one is so artful and fun, and it makes me think of her. She would love to dance this. She would love to steal Lindsey's fit here for herself too. X''D The song is so free spirited and bold. I think it very much speaks to Loraine and Auran's profession as dancers: they're responsible for keeping stories alive on that stage.
