Can’t get over how Will’s graduation was at Halt’s cabin. It’s established in book 8 that graduations are typically held at the Gatherings (as far as we can tell), which means that Halt would have had to find a reasonable explanation for why Crowley was coming all the way from Castle Araluen to declare him a Ranger. And that Will, who was probably aware that the graduations were usually at the Gathering even if he’d never witnessed one, bought it
(Unrelated, but there’s a small part of me that also wishes we’d gotten to see him graduate with the other Rangers around…)
