#nuzlite

for my very first pokémon game (i.e. brilliant diamond), i decided to play a Nuzlite version – not a true Nuzlocke, but in the same spirit to add some challenge to the game. rules i'm following:

Can only catch one Pokémon of each species.

Can't catch the evolved form of any Pokémon I already have. (Pre-evolved forms of Pokémon I have are okay, since there'd be no other way of getting one, and I want to fill up my Pokédex.)

No over-leveling. Keep Pokémon in my party within 5 levels of the gym leader's team on average. (Soft rule since the built in XP share makes it too easy to level up your Pokémon.)

Starter must be in my party at all times.

No reviving during battles.

When we restart, I’m going to add a white bow to Peter’s front. He basically took the revenge kill for his little sisters. He was older than both Fuzzelia and Natalya, after all, and it seems fitting for him.
