who said i love you first? narcissa technically said it out loud first, but not to him. she confided in her sister, andromeda, and he’d overheard. he was the first to say i love you to her, after hearing her conversation.
who laughs when the other trips? narcissa. it’s a light, tinkling laugh, and it’s all in good fun for her.
who pays the bills? lucius, once they’re married. he’s the one with a job, with narcissa opting to be a socialite and a stay-at-home mother to their only son.
which one makes a bigger deal around the holidays? that depends. earlier on, holidays were just a time for formal events. once he was out of hogwarts and had to wait until christmas to see her, he made a huge deal about the holiday, spoiling her during her time of need. and, once their son, draco, was born, narcissa went all out for holidays, trying to make each as memorable as possible for their darling boy.
who’s more clumsy? lucius. narcissa has this unearthly way about her she’s cultivated, and part of that includes her steady agility.
who checks their daily horoscope? neither, though narcissa will listen in if someone else is talking about them.
who sings louder in the car? neither of them are really singers, and they don’t own a car. however, narcissa is the one to pull lucius up to dance with her, regardless of music being there or not.
who leaves the cap off the toothpaste? neither. they were raised right.
who is more up to date in pop culture? they both are, but narcissa more so. part of being a socialite is keeping up with the times.
who insists on going to see the newest movies? they don’t go to movies.
who cries when the abused animal commercials come on? it takes a lot more to make them cry than advertisements.
who’s the lighter sleeper? lucius, especially after the war. but narcissa always asks that he wake her up if he’s awake for a while, so she can be with him.
who believes in ghosts? they’re not fools. they both do.
who does the grocery shopping? neither. they have house elves for that sort of thing.
who updates their facebook status more often? they don’t have facebook, but if we take this to ask who updates others on how they are more often, it’s narcissa.
