Originally, Hexsy actually worked happily with Puzzles on the film crew, being a light technician! I.e., working stage lights, setting up lighting, controlling the Kelvin, etc... when I started going through the process of starting to develop her into something more, I wanted to keep that light idea to her.

Then it hit me, what if she still worked with electronics? In a way, it mirrors her old design and also could make sense in the SMG4 lore, that being with SMG3 and SMG4 being technology savvy and also because she was a literal ring light before everything.

TL;DR: I thought it was neat 🤷‍♀️
