remember this guy? his name is chris collins. he was a representative of New York 27th district. he is a huge trump fan and was the very first congressman to endorse trump.
mr chris collins was recently found guilty of insider trading, which means he’s in jail for about a year, and therefore can’t do his job. so...
district 27 needs a new representative. a ~special election~ is being held on april 28th to determine who will be that representative for the duration of his term (that’s the same day as the NY presidential primary).
the republican candidate is another MAGA hat-wearing, trump-supporting bootlicker. he only has 300 followers on twitter but will probably be elected bc i live in a pretty conservative area of ny and young ppl historically don’t really vote in local elections.
the democratic nominee is Nate McMurray. he supports medicare for all and seems pretty not-moderate for my area. i really think it would be cool for him to win ESPECIALLY bc our last representative was such a republican douchebag.
so please spread the word about Nate McMurray. reblog this post. if you know someone who lives in western new york, reach out to them and ask them if they’re voting for nate.
