V = Volume (How loud they are, what sounds they make) 

Pépin - Pép is initially very very quiet, hes feels ashamed that he wants to be loud/enjoy himself initially, but over time he probably learns that it’s ok to be louder! He’s definitely still on the quiet side, but that’s just more how he is rather then him trying to be quiet in the end. (Unless it’s punishment play then he gets loud)

Alec - I answered that one here, but also him being told he’s allowed to make noises or even just encouraged/told to (”Use your words, tell me how it feels” etc) would make him feel more at ease with it.

K = Kink (One or more of their kinks)

Pépin - Pép’s got quite a few oops, and also it depends on what situation I’m writing him in BUT he’s very much into punishment play, being humiliated/degraded and dressing up in very fancy lingerie. There’s a bunch of others too but those are the main ones.

Alec - First and foremost being praised, but also minor dom/sub undertones with him being told what to do. (Also he probably will call the person Sir and then get SUPER embarrassed about it because he didn’t mean too but he just, likes not being in charge and deferring to the other person and he wants to be told he’s doing really good).  Probably also connected to being praised is the edging, he can be good and not come until he’s told let him prove it! Also biting I guess, though iunno if that qualifies as a kink.

T = Toy (Do they own toys? Do they use them? On a partner or themselves?)

Pépin - Only once he’s left the manor! Before that not all! He was barely able to masturbate without having a minor crisis.  Afterwards though he probably has stuff related to his kinks, or stuff his partner uses on him, but he normally resorts to just his hand if he’s alone.

Alec - He doesn’t own any but that isn’t to say he’s not curious. Also considering his life is mostly travelling alone and has to keep his belongings light he would’t have anywhere to keep them (Also he’d be too mortified to try and figure out where to get one)

S = Stamina (How many rounds can they go for, how long do they last…)

Pépin - Pépin’s got super good stamina (He’s got to perform for hours at a time afterall!) and can last quite a while, while also being able to go for a couple of rounds (Benefits of having a cloaca). In terms of time he can last from ten minutes to a full day if it’s a set scene they are doing. The point isn’t to orgasm but more about everything that is part of the scene they are doing.

Alec - Probably not super great to begin with. He’s pretty inexperienced aside from a couple of chance encounters on the road, and he normally just gets it over and done with if he’s touching himself so he can keep going where he’s going or go to sleep etc. He could probably build up stamina quite fast, he is a quick learner, is into edging and is also fuelled with weird magic so that has to count for something.

6. how they deal with grief

Laighe: she compartmentalizes it and files it away with the rest of her grief as motivation to keep trying to make things better. To keep trying to make amends for her mistakes and help the world heal. Is it healthy? Not at all! Does it work for her? Well enough!!! She’s also 100% guaranteed to go on a very long hike alone if something tragic has happened. Just give her some space and time for it

Imekaari: he’s honestly one of the most practical characters I have on this front and actually regularly sees a therapist like a smart person, as someone who helps quite the chaotic group stay alive or at least tries to. He handles shit surprisingly well and, even if it can negatively affect him in the moment, he’ll work through it just fine.

7. how they like to dress

Laighe: practical unless fancy dress is absolutely required. On a casual work day she’s in jeans and a T-shirt with a thick leather jacket that could still work relatively well to stop a blade or arrow. On an active work day she’s in full hardened leather gear and ready for a fight. There’s not really days off with this gal so it’s either casual or serious gear at all times.

Imekaari: he likes loose fitting clothes that give lots of comfortable space to move, and which cover his entire torso and right arm. He also can always be found wearing a scarf and earring, elaborate when off field work but simple when following the team into action.

9. their theme

Laighe: bear roars, hardened leather, a campfire nearly out and burning low for the night, deep greens and the smell of pine trees, a sharpening stone for blades.

Imekaari: the colors of sunrise, the sound of elaborate jewelry clinking as it swings, the light refracting through a colored gemstone, the feeling of soft pillowy blankets wrapped around you.

16. their dreams

Laighe: aspirationally, she just wants to get the world to a safe state. Just safe please. What she dreams at night, horrible memories and voices that plague her and partially cause her insomnia.

Imekaari: aspirationally, to further his studies and continue helping his friends complete their goals. Though he’d love one day to be able to see them all settled down relaxing again~ What he dreams at night, sweet days out exploring new places, memories of places he’d been and people he’d only gotten to meet briefly and what could have been...fanciful things really

Ohboy lets have at it!

1: their voice

Deep and gravely, rough from years of yelling and fighting. Even for a charr she sounds ragged and torn and like someone you’d best steer clear of.

2: their smile

It’s not the most charming thing and usually more of a forced grimace lol. But a genuine smile from her? It’s subtle and hard to miss, a small upturn of her lips and a nearly imperceptible rise of her brows. Something small, but genuinely happy for once.

5: their shortcomings

In her opinion, pretty much everything requiring any sociability! And she’s honestly very correct on that. She never really learned social graces and she has little interest in learning now. She may be the Commander, but her team handles every single bit of required conversation.

8: what they like to eat

She’s a campfire steak kinda gal, fast and easy and in large quantities

9: their theme

I don’t know what this question wants of me lmao

Hardened leather, deep golds, blood caught and dried in the crevices you just can’t quite scrub out

13: their embarrassing memory from years ago

Now she considers most of her blood legion past to be one hell of an embarrassing memory. She wanted to be a part of that structure? Thank fuck she was forced out.

Bria actually loves snow! The Shiverpeaks were her favourite part to explore in that short span of time she was traveling by herself between her awakening and Claw Island, though Bjora Marches definitely made her rethink her fondness of mountains and snow with everything that happened while she was there.

4. Has your character ever witnessed something that fundamentally changed them? If so, does anyone else know?

Nope, meet one hell of a stubborn gal who is set in her ways! She’s dug her heels in all her life to get where she is and keep people safe, and she’s not about to change that for any random little thing. You could slap her with a contradiction and she’d just punch back harder with her own. She’s been through some tough shit, and everyone knows it, considering she was on the front lines of taking down Scarlet. And as an ambassador to Elona when travel became necessary as Balthazar tore through the region, she saw a fair set of new sights both devastating and horrible. But she knows who she is, she knows what she stands for. And she knows people can rely on her so long as she does not waver.

7. Does your character have recurring themes in their nightmares?

Absolutely, that drill haunts her dreams. While Scarlet has been taken down, no one could stop the drill in time. And Jioro gravely risked her life trying to stop it. But there’s no use focusing on the past, she acknowledges it’s awful and takes some time to relax before going back to sleep.

15. Is your character preoccupied with money or material possession? Why or why not?

Yes and no. She’s immensely wealthy from old money, but genuinely doesn’t care much about it. She buys what she needs, lives in a house her parents had bought once as a gift, and pays anyone who works there enough to put them all in upper middle class minimum along with letting them live in various wings of the mansion to do with those rooms as they please. She’s pretty much constantly throwing her money into causes she supports and doesn’t use her funds herself past food/armor/weapons/clothes. So while she’s not personally preoccupied with material possessions much, she is rich and has the capacity to be.

22. What does your character like in other people?

Determination, capability, and an ability to stand your ground. She respects someone who knows how capable they are and takes action accordingly, especially those who hone those skills further intentionally.

for context tho: Tomomi is a vigil warmaster (previously sergeant) and Ashal is a priory explorer (altho I think she forgets she’s meant to report in what she’s found) 

1. What was your commander’s first job?

Tomomi - He worked for a secondborn called Renali, he was training to be a warden and ended up catching the eye of Almorra instead ending up in the vigil! 

Ashal - She never had a job before her priory one! However, she did use to help out in the kennels with the fernhound pups 

5. Where does your commander live?

The amanatsu family house used to be in the Grove but they all moved elsewhere - Ashal lives in Divinity’s Reach with her girlfriend, wife & their nephew Elowen  Tomomi has a house in Vabbi near the griffon sanctuary (and its kept up very high bc he hates the heat of the desert xD) 

11. What is the first impression your commander gives off?

Ashal is a RAY of sunshine, she is IMPOSSIBLE to hate, like literally she’s just an excited puppy and her first impression is just pure joy at a new potential friend

Tomomi is closed off, he seems angry and grumpy - often giving a cold shoulder to a new person. He is not friendly nor comes off as it, he is a typical scary military leader at first impressions
