have you seen the review where the guy complains about the fact that katana speaks japanese and he said it was racist and stereotyped. a japanese actress. playing a japanese character. speaking japanese. i think he's so used to whitewashing asian characters that he saw katana and didn't know how to react

yeah i don’t really know what to say about this. it’s obviously not my place to say what is and isn’t racist as a white person, but ngl i did think it was a weird choice to have her only speak japanese-- only because that’s never how she is in the comics, not from what i’ve read anyway. maybe it’s a new 52 thing since that seems to be where ayer pulled a lot of this stuff from but.. yeah

katana was great though and i’d love to see more of her. like.. in a future birds of prey movie maybe.. cough cough @ wb

when i open a post from your blog it doesn't give me the option to like it or reblog it, do you know what's going on? it is happening to a lot of people but i cant see anyone on my dashboard talking about it

hey!! i have no idea whats going on, i’m sorry :/ i’m only guessing that some themes are getting messed up because tumblr is currently changing/adding a lot of stuff (especially since they made that reblogging/follow bar larger on blogs. we even had to completely change a theme on a sideblog i’m co-running because of it :/ )anyways! i’ve logged into another account and when i try to reblog something from my blog, i can see the buttons? in this case i’m guessing it’s not because of my theme, i would suggest that you maybe try to reblog stuff through that dash/mobile view you can open up, until the thing on my blog goes back to normal for you :/
