if you don't become the main character you'll die interesting setting / world building in this one! very literally, if the MC cannot find a way to raise his relevancy within the story world he's become a part of, he'll fade away to nothing... so MC ends up forcing himself into the thick of all the mysteries and drama of the plot. the couple is also very tasty... from MC's pov, you think that the ML is very sweet and earnest! and then you get the ML's pov and you realize "oh, no, he's doing all of this only bc he feels an obligation to reciprocate the exact measure of what he receives, good or bad, and he'd rather study the MC like a bug than actually show real affection." and then he grows possessive of the bug. very good. the TL for this one is also really good!
i'm too lazy to run away if you like atticwifing... yeah you'll like this one ehehe. it's a bit of a dogblood drama but it's fun! MC transmigrates into a scum character RIGHT as that scum character is being caught by ML for his crimes... and although the ML planned on just killing the MC to remove the scum from the world, MC is now acting very odd??? and ML is very confused??? and within like. literally only a handful of chapters ML's attitude goes from "i am locking this scum up in the basement where he cant hurt anyone" to "i am locking this little squirrel up in my room where i can see him better." just mind the TWs for this one, in particular there's an aborted SA scene early on that plays out pretty far before stopping.
