1. Nellie’s Bird Shot

Nellie completely shocked me when she delivered this picture! I could definitely see this gracing the pages of a major fashion magazine. Her face is immaculate; I love her subtle smirk and sharp cheekbones, and her piercing stare is so commanding. Her relaxed reclined pose is fabulous as well, and I love how she showed off the rings and interacted with the bird. Nellie’s shot is the defining performance of Cycle 2 for me, it’s pure perfection!

2. Danielle’s Tribal Mudpool Shot

Danielle came into her own in this photoshoot and delivered a magnificent picture! The simplicity of her pose is so amazingly effective since she hit it with conviction, and she created so many angles and drew attention to the accessories. Her face is killer as well, she caught the light perfectly and struck a fantastic balance of intensity and softness with her eyes. Danielle had so many stellar photos but I think that this was her best achievement from the competition!

3. Nellie’s Overdramatic Herbal Essences Shot

Crazy how a 7th place finisher has 2 of my top 3 favorite shots of the cycle. Anyway, Nellie murdered this photoshoot! Everything about her pose works; she looks tall while squatting, and she framed the tiger prop and modeled the entire outfit perfectly. I adore the savagely evil look in her eyes, and her chiseled bone structure stands out even in the wide shot. Nellie was a superstar in this shot and she didn’t get nearly enough credit for it!

4. Michaela’s Tribal Mudpool Shot

This is easily my favorite picture of Michaela! Her animalistic pose is so cool and shows off all the accessories too. And her face is heavenly! Her eyes are breathtaking and her skin is simply glowing as well. There were some shady circumstances around this shoot (like Michaela being one of the only ones to pose topless for no good reason), but she powered through to give us a spectacular photo!

5. Danielle’s Bird Shot

Danielle really knows how to slay a beauty shot! Her face is insanely stunning, her bone structure is just incredible and her eyes are so piercing and haunting. Her reserved pose contrasts nicely with the fierceness of her face, and it’s neat how the bird, her face, and the jewelry are all lined up vertically. Danielle knocked this one out of the park!

6. Danielle’s CoverGirl Shot

Danielle has the perfect face for campaigns! She photographed so beautifully, her pouted lips and freckles and everything else about her face is flawless. She’s so at ease but still powerfully alluring, and while this may not be a stereotypical CoverGirl ad it’s still brilliant. This is CoverGirl taken to a high fashion level!

7. Elza & Nellie’s Paired Shot

As expected the twins worked tremendously well together! I love how Elza’s fierce/dynamic approach plays off of Nellie’s stoic/strong approach. Each twin excelled individually while still allowing the other to shine. All of the styling looks amazing on them as well. This photo was so under-appreciated on the show!

8. Elza’s Body Paint Jungle Monster Shot

Elza ate this photoshoot up! It’s just a gorgeous shot, I love the contrast of the pink body paint with the surrounding greenery. The mix of haughtiness, fear, and anger in her eyes is really interesting, and I love how her pose is so elegant and feminine to counterbalance the monstrous styling. Elza being put in the bottom 2 for this was an injustice.
