both of the main male characters in the comic im planning have long hair. which could mean nothing
ive thumbnailed out my first full-length OC animatic! yay! i think i might do the line art on paper in dip pen.
some of my ocs with this picrew. b/c i feel like it.
chet (left) - his roomate james (right; nickname jammy, mediocre goalie, pretty new oc so expect his design/personality/etc to change a lot)
jenni* (left) - ronni* (center) - currently unnamed roommate concept (right)
*jenni & ronni are the same character, just pre- & post-transition. he doesn't realize he's trans until partway through the story. you may occasionally see me refer to him w/ his deadname/deadpronouns when referring to him at a point in time before he realized he was trans
hadil (left; art teacher) - mark (center; geometry teacher) - currently unnamed concept for one of their students. (right; dont know much about him yet other than he does like art & his favorite medium is probably sculpture?)
i think im gonna spend a couple days feeling out jammy & the two unnamed concepts, both design & personality wise. jammy seems like he might be more important of a character than planned, hopefully the same doesn't happen to the currently unnamed ones? i feel like oh you pretty things has too many major characters already.... (chet, jenni/ronni, hadil, mark, francium (not pictured), cobalt (not pictured), and chris (not pictured))
how do you make a side character without getting overly attached to them. just made chets roommate who was supposed to be a side character and uh. he & chet are now childhood friends. & they play hockey together. fuckkkkkkkk hopefully when i design jenni/ronni's roommate i can make her not be super plot/character relevant.
i know y'all dont knoe much about my ocs. but ehat if. hadil & mark live together. what then
