O Desterrado (The Exile) - Carrara marble, 1872 - by the Portuguese sculptor António Soares dos Reis.  This extraordinary work of art is in the Museu Nacional Soares dos Reis in Porto.  It is one of the finest sculptures I have seen in person, easily ranking with the works of Michelangelo and Bernini.
