O Suzu

Species/subspecies: Kaibyou/maneki-neko

Female

Height (humanoid form): 5 shaku/尺 2 sun/寸 (approx 157 cm or 5'2 AKA tall for a woman in the period, but not extremely)

Appearance:

In cat form- tri-color cat (mi-ke-neko), mostly white with color splotches that look like 1 black and 1 gold koi fish on her back, round and chubby with short fur and a long tail

In human form- Long hair in a low ponytail. Round face, darker skin, large golden brown eyes. Doesn't wear makeup. Wears either miko uniform or simple but seasonal kimono.

Associated flower: Plum blossom

What does the perfect date look like for you?

"I'm not really sure. I like my solitude. I also like my quiet evenings with a friend. I suppose, if I loved someone, I'd want to spend time with them, and learn about them. I'd want to know they could take over watching the shrine, or at least they'd be willing to help me. I would only date if I were looking for a marriage partner, and even then... It's not really our custom, you know. They'd have to understand that my responsibilities at the shrine come first though."

Has anyone ever really broken your heart? Did you ever get over it?

"No. Like I said, I like being alone and the measure of freedom it gives me. Maybe someone came close, but they left this life before it could become anything serious."

What does happiness mean to your character? (To be content, to have won, to have something to be proud of, etc.?) Why? Does their definition of happiness change with time?

(RNG gave me O Suzu, one of my cat youkai characters)

Happiness for Suzu means keeping a regular schedule for the most part, putting her best effort into each thing she practices and being able to assist her friends. She’s had this view for a long time, after finding a place for herself taking care of a shrine after the priest passed away without a successor.
