Ex, was once a normal yellow sei. However, he was chosen at a young age to be the sun of Molamola by it’s creator, and his adoptive mother, Zinion. Thus, separating him from his twin sister, a light Ga’naa’so, who Zinion told to walk upon Molamola with midnight over head; bring night, sleep, and dreams with her music. she would grow sour, separated from her beloved brother, and lonely as she walked in the dead of night while everyone slept. What once seemed to be the gift of divinity, soon turned into an isolating curse for the both of them.
In a small mirrored box, Ex sits in the sky overlooking Molamola, in the celestial sphere; the meaning of room with a view. His domain had one door, which leads from Molamola to his golden gradient throne. There Ex has remained alone; only visited by other members of the pantheon, who deliver his offerings and keep him company. Ex thus remains in a juvenile state, unable to grow as he lacks socialization or hardship. he yearns for little but sweets, games, and new friends. always smiling, always shinning, and always happy to see you.
Ex is the main figure of Excellism. He is the one to provide Molamola with the potential to sustain life, by providing: daylight, warmth, and the energy to grow food. Associated with opals, and the colour orange, each summer solstice the people of Molamola dress in these symbols. In Ex’s honour, parades are held, lemon and cinnamon deserts served, special teas made, and communities playing all types of games. This day is a time in which all of Molamola partakes in all the things Ex loves best; While he sits shinning upon them unable to participate.
But there is still the joy of receiving all these things as gits from his worshipers. Offerings of thanks, are lovingly placed in his fire opal bowls, before a locked doors, in every temple. Molamola’s favourite star, is the most valuable light in the sky. Food, tea, fine silk clothing, golden jewelry and plates, fine decor, and much more is brought to him in his small abode. He sits spoiled, and oblivious to his blessings. Immortality and gratitude is wonderful, but will never fulfill his need for connection. For Ex can never leave his throne, as Molamola would die without his eternal sunshine.
