I would imagine as a kid he drew a lot. Later on when he joins the caravan he draws on loose sheets which he keeps in a journal. He would also write things on the backs of them sort of like keeping a diary. Due to his trouble with opening up this was a good outlet for him as a kid. All of these drawings however have just gotten lost over time.

K’irik has spent a good amount of time traveling so he could collect recipes for various pasties and desserts. It’s a sound plan so you can have the edge on the other bakeries in town that aren’t offering neat foreign treats.
