How about: what would you love to write a non-fiction book about?
I’ve actually written non-fiction books! Mostly for kids, including one on finance. It’s incredibly niche, yeah, but it says so much about culture and gender!

I’d blame the environment - something like a new cleaning solution with a smell that they find very unpleasant (and puts them on edge).
As far as I know, nothing like that has changed. There’s been no painting or remodeling, and we’re still using the same cleaner at the same dilution.
Maybe they just don’t like the smell of the new hires. Or the fact that they’re largely Useless. Their unease in the job makes the dogs uneasy or something.

Huh. That’s an interesting angle.
I mean, I’m pretty sure her reason for reposting it was just ‘oh look pretty lighting and a family photo’ but it wasn’t for me personally so I’ve largely ignored it. Someone else has described it as looking like a generic insert to a picture frame in the store.
Is it the photo itself that’s sketching people out? Because that’s a different conversation, and I’m curious to hear people’s thoughts and figure out why it comes across that way then.
And perhaps it is backgrounds that are playing into effect? Perhaps it’s a ‘traditional family’ imagery that’s sketchy? Because that usually bothers the hell out of me but I just assumed because I’m... well, weird about that in general.
But that’s an interesting thought, and if it is backgrounds playing into it, well, that could make all the difference.
I’m not a fan of the photo myself honestly. Those kinda photos always feel weird to me personally
I’m curious if anyone else has any feelings on this. Are there more reasons this is giving off bad vibes or is it just the reposting issue?

i usually wear a long skirt to the vet, so that the cats can hide under it.
The cat usually becomes velcro when I take her to the vet. Trying to get her off me so she can be examined is an exercise in “ouch. ouch. OUCH!”

That’s what I said. That perhaps the Vitamin D is working so well because I’ve already got a good ssri. I know that vitamin D can help with the body’s production of serotonin, but like, I already have a long history of depression, as does his side of the family. The two things might be connected, but I never want to go back to the way I was prior to my ssri. I do not want to go back to spending every day wishing I was gone.
Their concerns are long-term side effects, apparently? Or at least that’s one’s concerns. My dad seems to think it’ll fry my brain chemistry, but as I told him, you’re only on this sort of thing if there’s something wrong there anyway.
I’m on the lowest dose as is, and the only long-term side effect I can find for zoloft is being a bit spacey? Which, I mean, I am already but compared to what I was, I can accept that.
I mean, if shit somehow fixes to the point I don’t need it that’s one thing, but I’m sure as hell not pushing that. I like having a functioning brain.
