To: Cross Gene fandom
So, I wanted to write this to thank the greatest fandom ever to exist, for reasons I’ll tell you in a moment. I wish I could write all of you personally, but I think I won’t be able to stop writing when I start, then. A bit of backstory: I’ve known about Cross Gene ever since they debuted, particularly Shin and Takuya. I loved their debut song, had it on my phone ever since. But I never looked into them more. This kept going on, with Billion Dolla, Amazing Bad Lady, Not a Boy Not Yet a Man and Play With me. Every time. Until last year, July 17th, I had my tonsils removed -- and the two greatest and most painful weeks came to greet me. The greatest because I somehow stumbled upon another Cross Gene video and decided to look into them-- greatest decision I ever made. It was only a few days later that I made this edit blog, and from there-- well, yeah. The international forum came about, the Gross Meme groupchat on kakaotalk (if you wish to join, feel free to send me a message!), the xgenewaves blog together with TJ, I came back to Twitter, I made fanvideos, lyricvideos, and the best part of it all aside from the boys themselves were the fans. Before that, I’ve been part of a lot of different fandoms, but none as close-knitted as this one. We all work together to get things done, we all talk to one another, support one another... Honestly, I’ve never been this happy to be part of something. So when I was going through a tough time then, and all you guys suddenly appeared together with six (+1, I’m still counting J.G) of the kindest and funniest boys-- thank you for that.
Guys, truly, this album is amazing. My Face is such a blast and just... I’m enjoying this so much? Oh my god.
