Oakley Road, Canonbury, London; 30.9.2019. I came across the Brackley grave by chance on a walk through the cemetery, and the mention of an accident on the stone caught my eye. In the course of researching the circumstances, I discovered that Samuel Hider and Alice Ashbery are also buried there, so I will be going back to find their grave. In the meantime, on Sunday I went to see where they were living in 1936. It is the house in the centre with scaffolding attached.
