I realized this past weekend that 2/2 is two weeks away. Sooo...I'm scrambling to finish a few fics by then. Best case scenario is 4 fics. Worse case scenario is 2.

Ah, sorry for being MIA. Real life has been so busy for so long now and I really needed a break from social media---BUT I logged back into tumblr because I started working on a few ChrisMiyu fics for 2/2.
My WIPs look like this so far:

A Miyuki POV for my Yakuza AU...?
As you can see I'm not super confident about these WIPs. Lol I have no idea what I'll be able to actually finish, but I've missed these two. T.T

This is currently with my beta. All in all, itās only about 5k words and half of it was already written and just sitting in a folder, but it was still a struggle to get done. Iām out of practice! š
Currently working on...
For months now I've been bouncing from WIP to WIP. Maybe adding a sentence or two before closing the doc and opening a new one--only to repeat the process. It honestly felt like a fluke that I managed to finish the Comic Con AU.
Which is why I'm so surprised to find myself almost done with what could be a first chapter...? I've been working on a WIP I started for the Daiya Big Bang 2021. I scrapped it in favor of a new idea that would end up becoming devotion. Plot wise they're completely different, but tonally they're very similar.
My only problem is my outline for Chapter 2 looks like this:

Hi! I'm alive! My brain has been feeling like mush and I havenāt written anything in months. That being said...I do miss writing so Iām doing that thing where I start to go through all of my WIPs to see if thereās anything I want to try to finish and well...I stumbled across a few fics that I havenāt worked on in like four years...? š¤·āāļø Anyway...here are the WIPs Iām thinking about tackling:
Sequel to The Long Winter. Chrisā POV.
Sequel to Kiss with a Fist.
Sad, Moody Modern Hollywood Noir AU.
I've also signed up for Sportsfest. So finger's crossed for finding inspiration in the prompts.

A little snippet from my upcoming contribution to Retired Third Years Week.
Junās sister is getting married and he sees her in her wedding dress for the first time.
I was horribly blocked on this fic until I decided to write about Junās sisters. Theyāre honestly my favorite.
This story is finished and with my Beta. (Yay!) Itāll be posted on Ao3 on October 3rd for the prompt: Future Fic / Where are they now?
Currently working on...
1. Love Stories - The title is temporary (or is it??). Super chill, slice of life, no baseball AU featuring a ridiculous number of characters in loosely interconnected stories with at least 6 POVs. I hate it already. š Iāve put it on hold so I can gather my thoughts and, you know, maybe make a loose outline...
2. a place to lay my head - Miyuki takes naps at Chrisā apartment. A simple idea that might hit 4k words...? The winner of the āMost Likely to Actually Get Finished from this Listā award.
3. An Actors AU - Fun fact, this is probably the forth time Iāve tried to write an Actors AU. For whatever reason my brain just doesnāt want to. Anywho, this one starts with Chris trying to fix a copy machine so not off to a great start...
4. All the Things I Never Told You - Miyuki borrows Chrisā notebook and starts to leave him notes in it. All concept with no plot at this point. š

Iāve abandoned all of my WIPs (...again) in order to try to put something together for Retired Third Years week. Iām planning on re-sharing a couple of already posted fics and will probably have a new TetsuJun fic by then (...?). In an ideal world, Iād also have something for Chris, but...*sigh* weāll see. For anything Iām re-sharing Iāll probably try to make pretty promos for them at least. Anyway hereās my tentative schedule:
October 3rd - Future Fic / Where are they now?: A new TetsuJun where Jun needs a date to his sisterās wedding and misunderstandings ensue.Ā
October 4th - Free Day: The Loudest Quiet. (I think this might only half count since only half of it takes place after Jun and Tetsu retire...)
October 6th - Picking a college / College! AU: Being Social. (A ChrisMiyu that features Tanbaās POV and the Third Years in a group chat.)
October 7th - Pro!AU: Going through all of my fics I realized that Iāve never written a story from only Chris POV thatās about him playing professionally and I have absolutely no ideas for this but itās a darn shame and Chris deserves better.
