Oaktopia Fest Relocates to Dallas for Fifth Annual Event; 21 Savage and Phantogram Top Initial Lineup of November 17th & 18th Festival

Oaktopia fest is making some major changes as it prepares for its fifth year, namely making the move from little D (Denton) to big D. The Bomb Factory, Trees and the soon to be opened Canton Hall (the sacred grounds of the old Deep Ellum Live) will play host to the array of acts that will be performing both days of the event. November 17th and 18th is when it's all scheduled to go down. Oaktopia may be boasting some changes this year, but rest assured, at its core this will be the same event thousands of music lovers from North Texas and beyond have fallen in love with. The preliminary lineup consists of 21 Savage and Phantogram as the main headliners. STRFKR, A-Trak B2B Baauer, BoomBox, Com Truise, Azizi Gibson, and Wrestlers are the other acts that constitute this first batch of announcements.

That's quite a diverse bill already, from DJ's to indie electronic rock to rap and beyond. That's just the kind of assortment one has come to expect from Oaktopia, and the same key component that makes any true music festival a success, as it allows festival goers a chance to hear a little bit of everything.
