Is there anything too hard for the Lord?
If you will only believe, God can do much more in your life. Be blessed by the story of Elisha Joy Espiña, a 9-year-old beneficiary of Operation Blessing (OB) Cebu Surgical.
During infancy, Elisha’s mother noticed that something was not right with her eyes. She was soon diagnosed with Strabismus, which her mother also had, a condition in which eyes are misaligned. This condition became the reason for them to experience bullying.
Elisha grew up dealing with her low self-esteem all her life. She tried to live a normal life with other children but she would always feel different because of her crossed eyes. Despite their situation, Elisha’s mother never stopped praying. She fixed her eyes on God though the treatment for the eye condition needed an expensive surgery and follow up care.
Words were not enough to say how thankful they were when Operation Blessing came and informed them about sponsoring the eye muscle surgery. Elisha’s mother was overwhelmed in gratitude that her prayers have been answered.
Medical services were provided by the doctors, nurses, and some youth from different parts of the USA whose hearts were touched by God. They came to Cebu through the Operation Blessing Foundation Philippines, conducting a 5-day surgical missions in partnership with the Philippine-American Association of Connecticut.
Watch how God’s rich love meets needs in surprising ways. Prayers will not remain unanswered.
God hears us and in his perfect timing. When we will fully trust him, He will not withhold the good things for us.
