The republican, just say no, behavior is having palpable, negative consequences upon the economy and upon the national budget. Proposals that republicans have made, in congress and on campaign trails have favored the wealthy and money hoarding corporations more than and even against individuals and smaller businesses and entrepreneurs in the lower 99%. It is not the wealthy nor the money hoarding corporations that create jobs, yet they get republican support and defense. In the aggregate, republican behavior is difficult to explain as anything but deliberate sabotage. A question can remain, though, whether republicans want to maintain and secure the aristocracy or trash the economy of the 99% so they might blame Obama and express that anger at the polls.

Sarah Palin calls President Obama 'very, very tone deaf'

"I think we can predict that it's just going to be more of the same and unfortunately, the same for this president's failed economic policies," Palin said.

"I can tell you what the jobs plan is going to be because it's going to be based on his past record and that's going to be spend more money, increase taxes in order to pay for this third stimulus even though the first and second stimulus have not worked - and then borrow, try to find money to borrow from ... those who are still willing to loan to us and then spend even more money and it's going to be a repeated cycle."
