Obito and Izuna’s wedding!
Obito stood there at the altar looking as calm and collective as he possibly could be though on the inside butterflies flew around in his stomach, thunderstorms thundered through his head, and shaking rumbled through his whole body. He dressed to impress for once in his life, sporting a dark grey, nearly black, tuxedo accented with a neon baby blue vest and tie duo underneath and a white rose pinned to the lower half of his collar. He couldn’t be more nervous, and on such an important day as his wedding. He loved Izuna dearly and was ready for this day to come, but he felt odd having all the attention split between just him and Izuna. If he had it his way it would just be him and Izuna married by an official then straight off to the honeymoon. But of course he had to consider what Izuna wanted, and so he dealt with all the fuss and decided to be a part of their big lavish wedding that was most certainly planned by Izuna himself.
Their colors were picked by the couple, Obito asking for something not too bright and Izuna agreeing, so they settled on a color palette of baby blue, white, and silver. They fell together well, each color complimented the other. The garden of the manor had never looked better. The open field held white benches strung with silver ribbons that tied around small bouquets of baby blue colored assortment of flowers. The benches arranged in rows, one right behind the other, and two columns with enough space in the middle for an aisle that had a pressed white silver carpet rolled down to lead the way for Izuna to walk. Down the silver path was a small platform which carried an arch laced with silver and baby blue ribbons, and sprinkled with an array of white flowers. The scene was polished off with big white rose bushes, lilies, blue tulips, violets, and a huge range of greenery as a backdrop to the ceremony.
People have begun to fill in the seats, no one daring to step on the perfectly placed carpet in the aisle. Orchid petals laid out across the aisle, and a small bouquet of the different colored flowers tied to the ends. Some soft piano began to play and the first to walk down was Mikito, she was practically Izuna’s mother and was the symbol for everyone to be quite, for the ceremony was about to start. It is quite as she walks wearing a simple, yet elegant white dress and silver bands and jewelry. Once she reaches the end of the aisle, she takes her seat to the left of the aisle in the first row.
Following shortly behind her is Tobi. He smiles brightly as he walks further towards the front of the alter. He can see his brother watching and waiting, he can see the nervousness, and longing to get this over, but Tobi finds this part to be fun, despite knowing how important it is. He approaches the end of the aisle pausing momentarily to smile at Obito. He turns slightly to the right and continues toward his brother taking his spot to Obito’s left. They look at each other for a split second, then turn back to face the crowd. Their hands fold together and hang just at their waist as they watch for the next person to come.
Briskly Madara comes tromping down the aisle. He isn’t quite smiling, but not quite a frown. He is happy for both his little brother, and for his long time partner in crime (literally). He looks up to Obito, who pushes downward with his palm signaling for his new brother in law to slow down. It works and the happy troll slows down, keeping the pace as he continues. He strides more with the light piano, and calms down. He stops at the end of the aisle to give a thumbs up to Obito, and turns to smile at Mikoto and Indra, who sat just a space behind her.. It was hard to say if he was actually happy or was high on something to make him seem so, but either way he made his way down to the left side, leaving the space for Izuna to stand in front of him.
Next to appear was Itachi. He carried the ring that would soon become Obito’s. It was tied down to a little pillow that matched the blue vest Obito wore. He walked perfectly in time with the piano, making a graceful entrance towards the end of the aisle. He stopped like everyone else, for a brief second. He looked to Obito, and Tobi, then to Madara. He hesitated for a moment looking over to Madara, whom he was suppose to stand by but instead took the chance and walked to the right taking the spot next to Tobi. He was more than sure his younger brother could fill in his spot and stand beside Madara.
Speaking of little brother, Sasuke was already making his way down the carpet. He watched as his spot was taken and seethed deep under his breath. Itachi looked and gave an innocent smile, causing his little brother to roll his eyes, but still proceed to take his new spot. He stood there next to Madara and tilted a corner of his lip up slightly, as a ‘smile.’ It wasn’t exactly perfect but it was something, which was better than the usual emotionless face.
Finally the moment that everyone had been waiting for. The music came to a slow stop, and a more cheerful, and faster tone played. It was sweet and mellow, making everyone stand and turn facing the end of the carpet.
Two double wide doors open and you are able to see the main attraction, Izuna. He wore a beautiful, formal kimono, sporting all the couples colors. The sleeves were long and flowing, hanging inches below his waist. Peacock feathers sprawled over the right side, colored baby blue, purple and slight hints of the silver. It pulled across his chest and was tied neatly across his stomach and midsection, his posture straight, and the looser fabric in the back flowed across the ground with patterns of petals and more peacock feathers.
Kagami walked calmly and with a big smile. He couldn’t be more proud at this moment. Izuna was so sweet and he was happy for him and Obito. Though he didn’t expect this, he didn’t mind. Itachi and Shisui married, and well technically they are half brothers, no one knew this of course, besides Mikoto and himself. He didn’t let these thoughts phase him as finally they approached the end of the aisle. He leaned over hugging Izuna, a quick smile and took a seat beside Mikoto.
They proceeded with the ceremony, their own personal vowels, all the emotions and finally…. “I do.” Obito looked at Izuna as he spoke. His voice shook, along with his hands, but nevertheless he smiled happily. The official smiled and looked to Izuna and not even waiting for the nod, “I DO,” and he jumped towards Obito, who closed them around his new husband, and they shared their first kiss as a married couple.
Everyone laughed, clapped and whistled as they watched the two walk back down the aisle and down into the house. The anxiety was now over and the two could now relax and party with their family.
Okay so this is a big event, the turning point to our story. More to come, and be explained now that I am back, and will be free to write. So far all you need to know is:
Itachi and Shisui ran off to the court house and got married without any wedding, and now Izuna and Obito! Changes will slowly be made to the story so it will all eventually make sense!
