Gin and Kanna Kizuchi, a genderfae lesbian with PTSD, both see Sara Chidouin, a panromantic asexual genderqueer trans woman with anxiety who uses they/them pronouns, as a big sister! Today I met a red clock named Genesis! They’re agender, I’m not sure of their pronouns yet, but they’re my new friend! 

I talked to them for a bit, it was kinda awkward cause im completely socially inept, but I think we can become good friends!

I just discovered the whole Objectum stuff and i think i might relate so, if you don't mind, can you explain how "objectum attraction" works?

I think i may have felt some kind of attraction on an object but i didn't really felt they were conscient (from what I've heard, "conscience of objects" are really valued on the community) but i also felt aesthetic, sensual and platonic attraction towards objects (or sometimes even places!) So I'm really confused rn, am i objectum or I'm just touch-starved or if not, both?

First of all, a belief in animism or "conscience of objects" is not necessary to be objectum! A lot of objectum folks don't believe in animism or see their object partners as having souls/being sentient.

The only requirement is that you feel attracted to objects/concepts! And to me, it sounds like you do so you could absolutely call yourself objectum if you want!

Objectum attraction works differently depending on who's experiencing it and what they believe. Some objectum folks believe fully in animism, some believe in it partially, and some don't at all! Some people see their object partners as having a personality, some just like the type of object!

Any type of attraction can be objectum too! I know I feel platonic, queerplatonic, and aesthetic attraction to objects very frequently!

wait so exactly what is objectum and how does it work ?? as a genuine question/me trying to understand, not in a judging/trolling way (/srs) im just not rlly grasping how one can be attracted to objects/be in relationship with an object, and how its valid? The concept of animism is very prevalent in the objectum community. Animism is a belief held by many people, especially Buddhists and Pagans, but not exclusive to those faiths, that everything in the universe has its own unique spirit or soul. Of course, not every objectum person believes in animism but a lot of us do!

Everything I can tell you is from a personal standpoint because our relationships are all deeply personal. Every objectum person's relationship looks different.

Keep in mind each of these wikis has been edited by multiple people over a long period of time so one wiki may say one thing while another says something else. For future reference, asking "how is it valid?" was the only thing in this ask that came off a little rude. Being objectum is valid because it's a form of love. It's valid because I've never been in a relationship that's felt as good or as real as the one I'm in with my object partners. It's valid because it makes so many people happy and hurts no one. I could literally go on forever.

Objectum means to be attracted to inanimate objects!

In most media, you'd see a person attracted to cars, but it can be anything!

Often it has to do with animism, a spiritual belief common in Wicca, Buddhism and Paganism that everything has an individual, unique spirit.

Sometimes, it has to do with neurodivergence.

That's not to say that every objectum people are neurodivergent or are Wiccan/Pagan/Buddhist! Objectum isn't just one type of person!
