               the   silent   treatment   is   what   he   should   have   expected   considering   what   he’d   done,   but   he’d   expected   it   from   carol,   or   maybe   even   glenn   and   maggie.      not   bryn.      what   had   they   expected   him   to   do   though?      he’d   finally   gotten   his   brother   back,   after   thinking   him   dead   for   almost   a   year.      was   he   supposed   to   just   leave   him   again   because   they   wouldn’t   let   merle   come   back   with   them?      daryl   couldn’t   do   that,   not   in   the   moment   anyway.      maybe   he’d   been   looking   through   rose   colored   glasses,   but   he   really   thought   his   brother   would   have   been   different.      turns   out   he   was   the   same   old   asshole   he   always   was.      only   difference   was   daryl.      back   then   he   used   to   be   like   that   too…      but   not   anymore.      that’s   why   he   came   back,   because   the   people   at   the   prison   were   his   family   now.      they   cared   deeply   about   him,   trusted   him,   treated   him   with   respect…      he’s   just   sorry   it   took   him   as   long   as   it   did   to   see   that.

But his face was bone white and he was moments away from crushing the glass of Kentucky whiskey in his hand. Damon had done everything he could do short of getting an Original to compel him to forget a decade. The sight of this girl's face brought everything rushing back. His stomach felt like it was going to climb out of his mouth and there was a tightness in his jaw.

Logically, he knew that in order to truly be a family again there were many old wounds to be healed. He ignored his own for the time being, as he usually did and instead focused on those of his siblings. It was easier for him to do this, despite knowing deep down that he was only burying something that would eventually unearth itself.

Taking a deep breath, he moved towards the center of the courtyard where his sister stood. "How are you?" he asked quietly. "Truthfully."

The girl who arrived to Dragonstone came alone and with a valiant offer to share the secrets from her time in King's Landing. Though she claimed to know the Red Keep, Ser Jorah believed it unwise to so easily put trust in a stranger with no proper claim to any noble house or family. Daenerys did not see reason to send their guest back out to sea or allow her to meet the wrath of Drogon just yet - there was merit in hearing the word of the commonpeople.

If this girl (perhaps a scullery maid or cook for Cersei Lannister) found enough reason to seek out a dragon queen new to Westerosi soil, then she deserved to be heard. 

Arriving to the chambers were they housed their strange guest, the Targaryen queen entered after a knock, boasting a black dress and silver braids that trickled down to her lower back. Bronwyn appeared only a few years Dany’s junior, and she offered the girl a plate of potatoes, greens, and meat. 

“You must be hungry after such a long journey,” she said. “I imagine the sea was not kind to you last night. The storms here are unlike anything I’ve seen in Essos. So much rain, such violent waves.”

2. What was your OC's first job? Do they still work that job (or in that field), or do they do something else now?

His first job was for a small hangout place, you know like an arcade/snack bar

He was fired for almost burning the place down. And getting in a fight with his boss. And just being a trouble maker. He got his brother fired too.

NOW, as an adult he’s a scavenger merchant. He goes around to abandoned towns and cities looking for items to fix and sell again. In world this job is called a “scrap hustler” by people.
