OC study of Nadir’s back. I know I should’ve actually done my job and worked out the sigil tattoo but lazyyy. Either way the sigils help her apply the glamours that makes people buy into her genderswapped expression (it’s a plot mcguffin yes I deny nothing)

Character design project: Fae.

Lake is Quigley and Stormfall’s daughter; she’s been unable to fly since birth, and was breed-changed into a Fae in an attempt to change that. (It didn’t work, but did make her the right size to ride a Greatowl.) Hollyhock was found as an egg and adopted by Acuity Ridge’s Aberrations. Blackbird is Crow’s daughter, and best friends with Lissy and Glacee. Diamond is one of Acuity Ridge Clan’s founding members and their primary diplomat.

hello! I've been going through your art and I love it all so much! Its so so pretty! I noticed you have some ocs too! Do you have favourites? Either for your own original stories or as part of fandoms?

For fandom-related ocs, I’ve no doubt bb Kunai would win any contest. She’s just delightful isn’t she. I originally adopted her au backstory concept from Lee, Joanna decided her gender, and Lusa suggested her name, so she’s dear to me just as much because she’s sort of a shared creation.

In comparison, I’m not really good at making ocs that are like, just mine, and not dependent on any established universe. This lass came to me in a dream a while back tho, and I became invested in the story the dream unfurled for me, so I hope to draw her more. She’s a witch, a sole survivor from a persecuted coven, who’s gone undercover in a lord’s military administration to get answers; also she’s pretending to be a man. Yes I read too many genderbend manga in my formative years what can I say.
