Instead of journaling about my feelings what if I write about mayu killing her coworker. Would you guys still love me

the problem with wanting to write about mayu x adachi is that I have ten billion thoughts and I don't know where to start. It doesn't feel quite right making a formal timeline or putting things into a proper story. At least not yet

besides I still need to properly go through arena ultimax story and decide mayus involvement (or possibly lack thereof?)

One night when out for drinks- Mayu drunkingly confesses everything to Mumen about being saved by Saitama and spending two years searching for him. Later Mumen takes Mayu's sorry self home and puts her to bed and she mutters sniffingly that she just wants to thank him but thinks he's probably dead in a ditch somewhere knowing her luck.

Before he leaves, she asks mumen that if he does find him, will he thank him for her?

Of course he will...

Some concept sketches for another opm oc, Hide- a colleague of Mayu's who's admiration for her takes a dark turn and turns him into a monster...

Introduced as the new guy at the konbini

Kinda awkward and lacking confidence in himself but still a good guy.

Mayu shows a shred of human decency and falls for her because of course he does.

During a shift, Hide finds out via idle chit chat that she likes someone but doubts that they like her back, unfortunately misinterprets her "haha sorry why am I even telling you this??" as her opening up and confining in him and believes that he has a shot with her.

Later on Hide catches Mayu and Genos talking outside and thinks that's the guy she was talking about and is enraged """"on her behalf""", leading him spiralling into an obsessive, jealous rage because a conceited, aloof pretty boy like Demon Cyborg has stolen Mayu's heart and treats it like GARBAGE.

These distorted feelings cause him to monsterfy...

(I'm still in progress with the monster design but I want something of a similar vibe to Berserk's Slug Count and No Face from Spirited Away)

The following day, Mayu arrives late to open the konbini due to having her bike dropped off for maintenance only to find the store already open but the lights are out with no one inside. She walks through to the back to find a strew of ripped clothing and a large dark figure looming over it.

It speaks to her.

"Sen....pai...."

Mayu makes a break for it back onto shop floor and the Monster stalks behind and we have a tense Velociraptor Kitchen scene in the konbini

Mayu eventually lures it to get a hit and a chance to run out of the store and a chase ensues.

Genos comes to her aid and fights but only makes things worse by being there. Mayu doesn't want Genos to open fire because she doesn't want him to hurt what might remain of Hide and pleads desperately for Genos to help her talk him out of it.

Failing to calm him down and blinded by rage from the sight of her being beside Genos, Hide grows into a frenzy, attacks and manages to turn Genos into a mangled mess.

Mayu is left to watch Genos be crushed under the monster's foot and desperately begs him to stop. Hide turns to her and berates her for being delusional enough to fall for someone who doesn't love her back and an idiot to allow herself to be treated like dirt by "people like him" and lectures on about how he knows what's best for her and is clearly the better candidate due to his superior love and newfound strength. The same ol nice guy song and dance...

Mayu claps back saying that what he feels isn't love, but obsession and this isn't how you win people over. Her anger then turns to sadness as she begs him to stop and eventually, her words break through and Hide shrinks down but doesn't revert back completely and musters an apology to her.

Not knowing how to change Hide back, Mayu begins to worry but Hide takes his new form in stride and sees it as a hopeful reminder to never be like that ever again.

He thanks Mayu and calls her a good friend and they part ways.

My Tatsumaki headcanon that spurred an entire Beach Episode idea (story outline under cut)

maytama is established (early stages)

group vacation courtesy of Fubuki

usual social circle (Saitama, Genos, King, Tatsu etc are invited)

Mayu is also invited.

Tatsu is offended that a civilian is joining the getaway. Thinks Mayu is a freeloader that just wants to rub elbows with heroes and doesn't trust her in the slightest.

Perfect time to get to know someone...

The gang stay at a Private Villa with a beach and summer shenanigans ensue.

Mayu, feeling out of place because of Tatsu's standoffish attitude (like calling her "plus one") eventually starts having fun with the gang and meshing with the group far better than Tatsu is. This doesn't help Tatsu's disdain towards Mayu....

At some point the two girlies are alone in the water and Mayu tries having a conversation.

Mayu notices Tatsu's never seen without her floatie and speculates aloud that Tatsu might not know how to swim.

Tatsu gives her a look that proves this theory.

Tatsu obviously denies this, Mayu gently bumps the floatie and she freaks.

Mayu tells her it's ok and promises not to tell anyone, even tho it's not a big deal to her.

The following (very early) morning Mayu, still asleep, levitated out of her bed, she is abruptly woken by being dropped into the water.

Mayu resurfaces, obviously in shock, her swimsuit smacks into her face and Tatsu tells her to shut up so she doesn't wake everyone.

Mayu is ordered to teach Tatsu how to swim.

So every morning in secret Mayu and Tatsu are up before everyone else slowly learning the basics and actually learn more about each other. They go to the beach so that their voices don't carry back to the villa and wake everyone else up.

We learn that Tatsu doesn't like being in the water because she finds it disorientating and can't move as effortlessly like when she is flying in the air due to the water's density. what she hates most tho is if she's underwater she immediately goes into a panicked state because she can't see, hear or breathe. Panic shows weakness and she cannot ever let anyone ever see that.

Tatsu is embarrassed by opening up so much

"I'm sure you think less of me now..."

"Are you kidding me?? You're TERRIBLE TORNADO. You're #2 of THE ENTIRE heroes association. YOU CAN FLY ."

Mayu continues to list all that makes Tatsu great including how absolutely terrified she is of her. This humours Tatsu and she plays it off.

"Hm...I suppose that's true."

Their moment is interrupted when a sea monster emerges and Mayu is dragged under. Tatsu fights with the monster and is swatted into the sea but is now able to collect herself and shoot herself back out of the water and wreck shit and save Mayu.

(Something cool for the finisher like she creates a giant whirlpool cuz cuz... it's like...a tornado....but water....)

Mayu is happy that Tatsu isn't afraid of the water and teases her like "aw, you do like me...." And Tatsu threatens to drop her in the middle of the ocean.

The story ends with Tatsu being.... tolerant and a bit more respectful towards Mayu and the two understand each other a little better. As well as a game of chicken fight in the pool with Mayu on Saitama's shoulders and Tatsu on King's, fearing for his life.

Saitama: I'm sorry you've had to put up with her this whole time, she can be a real brat sometimes...

Mayu: Not at all! I think Maki-chan's quite cute actually~

Episode/OVA ideas I'd write if I could......

Mayu is forced by her family to partake in an etiquette class in hopes that she becomes wife material. Genos, misinterpreting an ad for the class is there as well. Shenanigans ensue.

Mayu has a new colleague join the convenience store and they develop romantic feelings for her however due to a misunderstanding, becomes a monster and hunts Mayu down.

In order to win a bet with King, Mayu coaches Saitama to get good at video games.

Whilst the gang are on a beach villa vacation, Mayu finds out Tatsumaki can't swim and is roped into teaching her in secret.

Mayu and Saitama have a bodyswap episode.
