Among the Light

When I was young, I was scared of the cities. I was told by father that they are hunting us. He said that if they found us, found me, they would kill us. My siblings perished to their guns and their light. Mother killed as many as she could before dying that night, I do not mourn her for she is alive. Trapped in her bones that they bound to their clothes and arm, dipping them in silver and gold. I saw someone wearing her claws, she told me she loves me and is so proud of me.

When father went, they got smart and didn't take his bones and left his body in the woods. I can still find them and talk to him. He is alive trapped in his bones, bound to the earth and dirt, dipped in feathers and moss. I told him I was leaving the safety of his cadaver. I told him I would play pretend forever with the hunters and kill my own kind to survive.

I now pretend to live among them, among the kin-slayers. I now wear their clothes and bones to hide among them. Under the great moon that sits on top of their city. I am alive, trapped in matte colors, bound to the armor and guns, dipped in mirrors and lies.

it’s a deity for walloped. it’s the fourth horseman of the apocalypse/the fourth pillar of humanity ^_^ it has 2 secondary forms called ‘apathy’ and ‘death’ 🌞

it’s not really a big character and no one really treats it like a deity but i love it so much it’s such a cutie

it DOES have more inhuman features but they’re more on its legs and in its other forms
