omg I just realized I  never posted this  Luthais got assigned Blake when she was 21, and was by NO MEANS happy about it

He got involved with her mom when he was first forced into intelligence as a cipher, and made deals with her in order to move up the ranks and get out of his death sentence in the agency. He would work as a mercenary for her, so long as she made bids to give him rank, with the understanding that if he had sway in intelligence, she would be able to utilize it later. 

WELL that was 15 years ago at this point, and once his job position didn’t say “cipher” anymore, he made a lot of efforts to cut ties with her, and though it took a hell of a lot of effort, he thought that by now she’d have forgotten about him. But as it turns out, she didn’t, and when Floren escaped the empire, she decided to cash in on his debt by leaving her daughter with him. 

This came with literally 0 warning, 0 planning, and critically fucked his plans to transfer back into the military and become a general like he always wanted.

He wasn’t happy about it, she was expecting the worst, and for about six months she was his inconvenient charge, and he was her perpetually pissed off handler, and that was it. 

But eventually he became dad and life was good lmao

@juczerro and @deathstickz are currently victims to a big wild RP plot of mine and all three of them have been just making nonstop jokes and puns while on missions, and Ard has been having none of it.

but enough of this torturing cipher agent Blake, look at her she loves her life she loves her job, all she wants is to upload data, and do what’s best for the empire, let her rest.  She’s never been this happy even if shit had to hit the fan for her to get here.  talk to her, wake her up or something she’s so friendly

she didn’t exist either

on the record she died doing some imperial stuff, or was killed in a coup or something  For the sake of convenience, most of Blake’s “childhood memories” were mostly with her, since Luthais, being an agent, was “almost always out on work”, but in reality it was just way easier to write stories starring someone who wasn’t real. So Blake misses her mom, because her fabricated memories tell her that she should, but none of this ever existed since she was raised by her psychotic sith mom. 

Luthais isn’t sure how to feel about the extensive fanfic he wrote about his own life, and since he had to fabricate some memories for himself, it’s kinda weird for him to know that he ended up both creating and killing his wife that he has tons of fond memories of and as a result kinda loved maybe??? but she never existed in the first place?????? He’s confused. But anyway it’s better than Blake knowing she was raised by her huge horrible sociopath sith mother and all the terrible things that happened, and that’s honestly all he worries about.

so anyway here he is, he’s 25 here because that’s how old he was when Blake was born but to a huge horrible bitch
