Oikawa’s interest in his nephew’s daycare teacher spikes up about as hard as his serves and he grins, “You’re looking at the one and only Tohru Oikaw--ACK!”

Takeru pulls on Oikawa’s hand so hard he almost topples over, which has Suga laughing into his hand and probably all of Oikawa’s chances with him gone.

a/n: i have like ten drafts of this one so it’s not my fave oops

Hinata’s known for doing stunts during concerts, but since he’s performing without his usual partner he was advised to not even attempt anything; unfortunately, he goes for it without thinking, sprinting towards Oikawa as if it’s Kageyama’s who’s ready for him.

By the time it’s too late to stop and Hinata’s sure he’s going to crash, Oikawa catches on and gets into position, allowing Hinata to bounce off of him into a backflip seamlessly.

The audience erupts in cheers and they continue with the performance without missing a beat; Hinata’s heart is racing, he doesn’t know how to feel about Oikawa connecting with him significantly faster than Kageyama but he quickly stops thinking, only feeling the music pump through him.

criminal au akashi/kuroko

Akashi’s ability to capture and manipulate the attention of others and Kuroko’s ability to easily disappear while in plain sight pair together so well that the CEO they’re stealing from, seated at his desk, hasn’t noticed Kuroko going through all his drawers beside him.

Kuroko sometimes thinks it would be fun to get Akashi to look at him and break the illusion, but being a brat at Akashi isn’t worth them getting caught.

Once Kuroko finds what he’s looking for he returns to Akashi who flicks his eyes toward him, drawing the CEO’s attention to Kuroko and breaking the hold Akashi had on him, “Thank you for meeting with us, but we should be on our way.”

tutor au aqua/terra

When Terra enters the study room in the library he’s completely taken aback upon seeing Aqua and hearing her ask, “Oh, are you Terra?”

“Uh, no–I mean–yeah, yes, that’s me, uh, sorry,” Terra stumbles through his words and feels exhausted when he finally gets them out; he was already nervous about peer tutoring, being blindsided by the pretty girl he’s sort of met before didn’t help.

Aqua smiles and scoots her seat a little to the side to give him room next to her, “Great, we can get started whenever you’re ready.”

Ahiru had pulled Fakir into the living room to surprise him with a tape she found of one of the short films he starred in during his days at college, so impressed and amazed by the acting skills she hoped so hard she could grow one day.

“Why did you stop acting?” she asks as she hits “rewind” again, mesmerized.

Fakir sighs and sits down on the floor next to her, leaning back on his hands so he can look up at himself 5 years younger with a plastic saber in hand, “Writing feels right, that’s all.”

“Oh boy, looks like we’ve got another Sigil appointment coming in later,” Axel groans, scratching his head, “or two, I guess–says ‘Lauriam’ and ‘Elrena’ on here.”

Saix doesn’t look up from his sketchbook when he responds in a thoughtful tone, “Two at once…sounds familiar.”

Axel huffs and gets up from his chair, more than happy to leave the appointment book that Xigbar comes in to add to when the tattoo shop is closed at night, and makes himself comfortable leaning on the wall by Saix.

“Yeah, poor saps,” he says, “think they’re gonna be as extra as you with that thing on your face, Isa?”

Saix glares up at Axel, “Don’t use that name, Axel.”
