What do you want to occupy that you haven't already taken over? You completely pushed out poor people in my neighborhood by gentrifying it. You completely destroyed the living expenses here. Apartments in Williamsburg now go anywhere from 900-2300 a month for STUDIOS. There are a million condos and lofts being built. You are building lofts in the Williamsburg Bank which has been a historical building since 1927.
You build charter schools here, then do not allow the children who have lived here before you came here to go. You rezoned my neighborhood. It used to be just Williamsburg. Now there's a North and South, West and East. You rezoned the neighborhood according to zipcode. The zipcode I have used for years, my grandma who lived here for years used is now different because YOU are here. You are building a new post office, since you don't want to associate with us anymore. You don't even come 10 blocks south of your haven unless you have to ride my train stop. Every old building, everyone local business, every working class or lower class family is being effected by this.
There is a food desert where I live unless you walk 15 blocks to the organic, fresh food grocery store. 15 blocks I have to walk for a fresh piece of fruit or organic food. All because YOU are here. I get followed in stores because YOU are here. When I was here first. I've been here. Why are you treating me like I am the one who is out of place?
