Older Ocean in the making!!!
Day 2: The Shenzhen life
This was my second day in Shenzhen working in ICO ( Institute of contemporary observation) with my buds Hedy and Brian and it was a blast. But what I really want to talk about, is the beautiful place we just moved into, with a view overlooking the ocean plus a wonderful breeze. If you have ever been in China during the summer you’ll understand how nice it is to have cool air. It is a relief after a long day of hot, humid weather.
Working with Dr. Liu, the director of Ico has been great. He’s been really good to us and even treated us to lunch! Today at the office we began researching the one of the social networking sites used by the workers to blog about their day. I am growing more interested in the plight of these workers as I learn more about their lives. I want to help make a difference in these workers lives and I believe ICO will allow me to do so.
Tomorrow, me Brian and Hedy will be actually meeting up with some of the workers involved with ICO. I am excited to meet them but don’t know what to expect. Well, until tomorrow!
