She was able to let her guard down around him – she felt that she could. She cared about Otto more than he’d ever know, and she was calm as she stepped forward, defenses lowered, and took his hand.

She trusted him, wholeheartedly.

When her hug was returned, Cider let out a small sigh of relief – okay, this was good. This was alright.

“Sorry...just seemed like you needed one, y’know...?”

She gave one more quick squeeze before leaning back, and...the soft static pulses moved with her. She held onto him still with her hands, and the sensation remained with her contact – was it just her? That strange touch, was it emanating purely from the woman herself? There was a bit of static cling – the smallest shock, but nothing more.

“Don’t worry Doc, I’ll ask next time. ‘Kay?” she said with a smile, cheerful and bright.
