Well today I say goodbye to the Vagabombs, my lovely, amazing Netherdeep party. Our finale sessions took roughly 8 hours and it was our 3 year anniversary. I can't wait to see what we do next.
So here's to Nunc, Garm, Elvira, Emery, and Antonio. They competed against their rivals (the Cleanup Crew/the Emerald Eyes), fought off demons in Xhorhas, and chased down the mystery of a calamity-era hero. They dealt with family tragedy, criminal organizations, and cults, and conspired with the Grinners and the Cobalt Soul to expose corruption.
They explored Nicodranas, Ank'harel, and Xarzith Kitril, and hunted down mythical items and legends. They took out the likes of enemies like a beholder, and multiple dao and golems, and marauders known as Raiders of Ruin, while setting free a trapped archfey, the Sapphire Sentinel, and unearthing an abyssal-cursed artifact.
They faced the Netherdeep-and the threat of Ruidium, and made their Judgement of Alyxian. They defeated an Aberrant Zealot undergoing Ruidian Ascension in a Moonweaver Ziggurat buried so deep in the desert that it'd been forgotten since the Age of Arcanum.
They relit the flame of faith in Hiatea-the giantess demigod of the hunt and the hearth, and destroyed the Mace of the Black Crown and the devils and fire giants that would have used Hiatea's Hearth for horribly nefarious purposes. They flirted with a few folks, faced down the family that would be their foes, became friends with J'mon Sa Ord and defeated not one, but two dracoliches.
So ty to my players, and to @drawsmaddy and @oddthesungod for art, and to Critical Role for this actually amazingly creative module. It inspired suuuuch a huge story for my players, and I was constantly inspired to do more.
Goodbye Vagabombs! You changed the (my) world. 💜🤧
