Thriller story: Touch of Death

Hello everyone!

I’m a Wattpad author and I thought that maybe I could try to pass my story somewhere else since it’s not getting too much recognition there. I mean, the first version in the Slovak language has over 35K Reads and has many fans, but the English version has not been really acknowledged by readers so... maybe I could start adding new chapters here? Is someone interested in reading it? I’ll put down the annotation and also link for my Wattpad story.

18-year-old Ria wants nothing more than to be someone else. She hides a dark secret that afflicts her for days and nights. Suddenly, her mother stops answering all phone calls. When her father also starts to behave strangely, she decides to find out what's going on. However, the situation gets complicated, and she finds out that there are more sins in the O'Donnell family than she thought...

There was no time for going out with friends.

There was no time for playing with the dolls.

I had no time to grow up in a normal family as a normal girl.

I know why my mom left my father. I also know that she tried to do everything to make me feel like every other child. Was I happy with such a life?

I don't know.

Am I happy now?

I also don't know.

The fact that I had exchanged toys for weapons, and dance lessons for hard training, didn't bother me. Thanks to that, I can take care of myself, I can protect myself.

But would I really need protection if my own father didn't put me in danger?

What if my mom left my father before he put the first gun in my hands?

What would change?

Would I stand here now, risking my life, only to save the people I care about?

Well this is… brutally horrifying. Who knew Lindsay McCabe had this in her! Not me, that’s for sure. However, and if this isn’t a haiku manifested in comic book form, turn the god damn page and you find out she was acting!!

Lindsay McCabe is the greatest actress of all time. She even had me fooled and I’m just some dumb asshole reading about this shit in a comic book!!! What the hell is she doing bumming around San Francisco and Madripoor with Jessica Drew?? She should be on Broadway! She should be winning Oscars! What a national treasure.
