Her heart was still rattling loudly against her chest as she tried not to show how shaken she was, not to worry her friend. “I…” How was she supposed to explain that her mind was still reminding her of those horrible days when she was under the terror of the gang. Cruel games of her mind, as if the scars on her body weren’t enough of a reminder. “It was a nightmare…I don’t remember much.” The doctor lied as she lowered her gaze and sighed deeply to try and let it go. The dreams felt so real though, she could feel them burning her skin, she could feel all their punches so clearly each and every time that she was suffering from the nightmares. “Just a nightmare.” She repeated as if trying to persuade herself.

They have met in an unusual way and there were chances that Jihae grew so comfortable with Kinam due to how uncomfortable she felt during their first meeting. He wasn’t an unpleasant company, it was more about her being caught in a vulnerable state that was making her feel embarrassed and shut out from connection. The police officer quickly grew comfortable with the actor and got surprisingly attached so when she didn’t hear from him for a couple of weeks she felt like something was missing. She tried calling him but there was no answer, she texted him and didn’t get no reply either and he didn’t show up at ‘their spot’ either. She tried not to panic but five weeks seemed to her to be too long to just be busy. Concidering the nature of her profession she had not the nicest thoughts running through her mind when he didn’t pick up the phone yet again.
