Meg Greene was just the unlucky florist in love. She spent so much of her time helping people declare their feelings for one another with one flower and yet never had the chance to fall in love herself. Well, there had been that one time years ago, but that only ended just the way Roni had predicted it would: in heartbreak. Not worth remembering or sweating over. Though if she ever did see that man again.... Roni kept a bat behind her bar for a reason. While Marisa was usually the calmer of the two twins, there were certain people who deserved it... he was at the top of her list.
But that was behind her ( mostly ) and Meg just wanted to live her best life. She had smiled up at the stranger who walked into Gold Crown Florists. She never had seen him before ( or so she thought ) but god he was gorgeous - no, she would not let herself go there again. Hadn’t she learned the first time around? Love was weakness... the mantra of her mother that she only learned was true. Instead she gave him a small smile, “Can I help you find something for someone?”
