‘❣’ for my character suddenly being joined in the bathe by yours
It was cold outside. No, not just cold. It was freezing. The world was covered in a lawyer of snow and icicles were hanging from the roofs. It almost looked fairytale like and while everyone else was excited to have a magical snow day, Vivian stared outside the window with an obvious annoyance in her eyes. It was alright for a day or two, but an entire winter of coldness? Hell no. She was already freezing only looking outside.
Robert, her knight in shining armor had immediately offered to come over and attempt cheering her up, but that task was clearly more difficult than he had thought. “If you’re that cold, how about a shower?” He suggested and although, he hadn’t meant it like that he couldn’t stop his ears from heating up ever so slightly, when her eyebrows rose in amusement and she was giving him one of her smug grins. Obviously, she had not turned out to be as crazy as some of his previous dates, but honestly sometimes she was driving him insane. “Without me, of course,” he added. “Of course,” Vivian repeated mockingly, “Whatever else could you mean?”
One last time Vivian winked at him, before actually disappearing in the bathroom. His idea wasn’t too shabby. “Give me ten minutes!” Quickly she turned the water on to fill the bath tub. The room was instantly filling with a cozy warmth and while she was waiting Vivian pulled her hair up in a bun. She then let her clothes slide off her skin and stepped into the bath tub, lowering herself in the water. Immediately, a soft sigh left her lips and her eyes shut in relaxation. “If I didn’t know better, I’d say you’re a genius,” she quipped loud enough for him to hear it from the living room, and there was no need to say that she was genuinely surprised when his voice was a lot closer than she’d imagined. “I am a genius.”
Vivian’s eyes darted open and she pushed herself up in a sitting position. Her eyes widened ever so slightly at the view and now she was the one with a blush creeping on her cheeks. ‘Surprise’ wasn’t even the right word anymore. She wouldn’t have thought of Robert as the kind of person who would walk in on her like this. Not that she minded it. She highly doubted anyone would mind having him standing naked in front of you with one of his handsome smiles playing on his lips. He only had seemed too kind and charming to do such thing.
“May I?” For yet another moment Vivian stared at him before nodding. She was speechless and he seemed to fully enjoy it. It was his payback to the many times she was teasing him. “I am not sure if I’m good or bad influence on your highness,” Vivian said with a smile, as he lowered himself behind her. She leaned back against his chest, resting her head on his shoulder while he wrapped his arms around her. “Either way, I quite like it,” he admitted. Vivian placed a soft kiss on his arm, closing her eyes again. “So do I.”
