You Raise Me Up || Treven&Sally
She was going insane, she was quite sure of it. She'd been locked up for a month and a half. He'd kept an extra eye on her for a while after Valentine's Day, but she'd managed to get out once before he'd gone over the edge and locked her away. She currently paced her room. He thought she was sleeping, she'd told him she was going to take a nap just a half hour ago. It was the only way he really left her alone anymore. Ever watchful brother. That and when he went into work. Which he was due to leave any time now. "Sally?" his voice called. She didn't answer, he simply checked the lock on her room and the adjoining bathroom. The moment his footsteps headed down the stairs she was watching form her window. Waiting to see the car pull away. Tugging back the curtain only once it was out of the drive way to watch.
He was gone. She had time now, and it was spent grabbing a few outfits, her jacket and leaving a note saying that she couldn't take it anymore she'd come back eventually to get her things. Though she didn't say in the note that she planned on doing it while he was gone since she still had a key to the outside door that did her no good now. She tossed open the window. It was afternoon, he was working afternoon to evening so that would give her time to find someone, anyone to help her out without him going on the hunt. She looked down, she'd never had the guts to do this before but she couldn't handle this anymore and breaking her leg was probably the worst that could happen. She dropped the backpack of clothes and a sketchbook down and stepped out. Thankful for the little design of the bricks on the wall that made a place to step. She turned and edged herself along that until she reached the spot above the entry way to the cellar, glad theirs was a smaller building rather than the little bulkheads some had. From there she grabbed her bag and just ran. She knew exactly where she'd go. To Mr.Gold. Surely he'd be willing to make a deal that gave her a home for a week or so until she could get her things together and go to the bank. She had money. She just... needed to get to it.
She was tired, but pushed herself to keep running she didn't want to be anywhere near their house in case Viktor had someone check on her.. She shoved the door open and looked up to the person behind the counter. She'd known he worked here-- but she hadn't expected Treven to be the one there. Tears streaked down her cheeks at the relief, and guilt of seeing him. She leaned against the door, not really being able to speak. It'd been almost two months of being locked away with no outside contact and the first person she ran into was the one she wanted to see most. And the realization that she could, potentially end up hopeless or locked up even longer... it was all to much for the usually rather reserved red head.
