Sometimes I wonder if Indigo was right and we really were changelings that had been cast out of the Otherworld. Maybe we truly did need to die to be let back in. I mean, it wouldn't be the first time something like that has happened to me-I am also Ofelia from Pan's Labyrinth for instance. Maybe she was even right about us being two halves of one soul, shared between our bodies. I know the book largely leads into the idea that we weren't and we just got too deep into fantasies, but still I wonder. I'm sorry Indigo, I didn't mean to kill you but I had to live. I wasn't going to let you kill me for something that probably wasn't real in the first place. But I loved you. And to my husband, thank you for finding me and calling me by my true name. I'd almost forgotten what it was. -Azure/"Indigo" (The Last Tale of the Flower Bride) #🌙🌹🐚
