    “  she’s------ put the fucking gun down, c’mon! she’s fine, i swear----!  ”    jane’s voice was STRAINED, the fear evident in how her words cracked and fizzled. she’d already had her share of insane fathers, and after the last time? kenny had almost ended her, WOULD HAVE ended her if it hadn’t been for clem. and clem was gone now. jane had been ‘entrusted’ with judith when the group had been split up during the attack. honestly, the kid couldn’t have had a worse adult to look after her, but.. jane had managed to keep them both alive.
