KEENAN- “So, you must be Noah Boedell?”

NOAH- “That’s me, so your our new dorm mate?

KEENAN- “Yeah, I understand we are going to be rooming together...I have a couple rules...”

NOAH- “No need to tell me, as I am going to be rooming with Matais. So you can have my old room, all to yourself, at least until the new year starts.”

KEENAN- “Oh...okay, that’s even better. Darby said you and Matais were close.”

NOAH- “You certainly seem to have a lot of rules that we need to follow for being the new guy.  Matais lives here and pays room and board like all the rest of us.  I don’t think it would be in your best interest to tell him where he can and can not go around his own home. It might also be in your best interest to lose the attitude.”

KEENAN- “Well, excuse me...sorry if I came off rude, but Darby doesn’t care for him, and I don’t want her to feel uncomfortable and not come around because of him.  And maybe you could lose your attitude.”

NOAH- “I am sure the feeling is mutual between Matais and Darby, so I think there are no worries there. As far as my attitude, I can get along with anyone, except for people that think their shit don’t stink and others are going to cater towards them.  We all live here, we all pay the same amount to live here, and you nor anyone else have the right to tell any of the other roomies what they can and can not do.”

KEENAN- “The last I heard, Cam was the student adviser around here, not you.”

NOAH- “Nor are you the student adviser, so keep that in mind. If you will excuse me, I think I will go get my things out of YOUR room now.

KEENAN- “You could say that, she and I have been seeing one another for a little over a month now.  She is the one that told me about the vacancy here and referred me to Cam.”

NOAH- “Oh...okay, cool. So she is doing good, I haven’t talked to her in a while.”

KEENAN- “No need for you to worry about her, I keep her happy, and busy. She will be coming around here I am sure, if you could just keep your boyfriend away from her.”

NOAH- “Boyfriend? I have no boyfriend.”

KEENAN- “Well, whoever the Matais guy is to you. When she is here, I would prefer he not be around.”
