She had no idea what she was thinking, why she even bothered with the boy that had come randomly knocking at her door. But no matter how cold and indifferent as she may be, it wasn't like she could just leave him there at her door-step. First off, she did not need her neighbors calling the damn cops on her. Secondly, she would be lying if she said that not even a part of her was curious about her would-be-son.
The drive from Boston to Storybrooke, Maine--wherever that fucking was--had been insufferable, what with the way the kid seemed to have a nasty habit of talking too much. She was, in fact, happy that she had given him up because she was not sure if she could handle him. A part of her should feel guilty for that, but she didn't.
