"I might consider it ( settling down ) Nanami if you play Digimon Survive".

nanami : no.
"So you love me when I'm not a worm! I knew it, nanamini!"

Even when they were younger Nanami always had this sort of atmosphere about him that made Satoru so drawn to him. It didn't matter what they were doing at the time, but he always found himself looking at the other. Trying not to be creepy about it as he did. At least when he was wearing his dark glasses the other couldn't quite see where his eyes were looking.
"It's a good thing Nanami. It means a lot of people are more than likely drawn to you in some way. Some more than others." Satoru said. Trying to hint about the fact that there was a reason to why some were more drawn than others. Including himself. "Well, what if hypothetically speaking I were to say that I liked you? As more than just a friend way?"

having assumed the laugh nanami let out was one of agreement to his joke, atsuya is shocked by the other's reply. for a full moment, he can only stare wide-eyed at nanami, his mind replaying the words to make sure he heard it correctly.
“huh? no, that first part was just- i wasn't—” he stammers before cutting himself off. he can feel himself blushing, and it embarrasses him, (to be acting like this, at his age, in response to someone a decade his junior,) which only worsens his blush.
“—don't tease your elders!”

Her voice had sounded so small, even to her own ears as she stood lingering awkwardly in the doorway. Barefoot, hands politely folded before her and fingers ringing together as she'd mustered to courage to speak up at all. Kisa wasn't sure if he would hear her at all, most of the other adults never did. Wide amber eyes that had been filled with hopefulness waned and flickered, unable to address Nanami directly as she ducked her gaze away and bowed her head, almost ashamed for having spoken up or out of turn in the first place. She didn't want him to leave, not while she was still awake at such a late hour the idea of him leaving while she slept unknowingly was half the reason sleep evaded her. Tiptoeing forward, Kisa reached up to tug on the sleeve of his suit jacket gingerly. "I thought you were different... from the other grown-ups. The ones who make promises and leave."

He is pouting, his lower lip jutting out a bit, while humming with dissatisfaction.
“ He ran away— Maybe next time when I catch him in an open space I’ll just— ” He’s doing the Hollow Purple sign as he shakes his hand, puffing out a cheek slightly to add to the overall expression of mild annoyance. He sets his hand down and sighs.

Suguru gives a hum of agreement, taking a long drink from his own glass, the burn of the whiskey setting in his stomach and making him feel warm. "I can't blame you," He sighs, gaze dropping down to his glass, rolling his wrist and watching the dark liquid swirl. "A job like yours would drive anyone to drink. Still, I'm surprised to run into you here... You must be off the clock." It's not often that Suguru goes out like this, replacing his robes with expensive dress clothes like he's just another bachelor at the bar. He's not sure why he does this, really - it's not like he enjoys being around monkeys, and he supposes he could just drink at home - but he only keeps wine at the temple, and he craved something stronger than that tonight. Maybe the reasons don't really matter, now that he's here and Nanami's sat next to him at the bar, like a ghost from his past.
"Lucky me, I suppose things would be a lot different if we met during work hours." He hums, eyes drifting over his face - he's matured a lot since he last saw him, a skinny teenager with bangs that hung in his face. Even overlooking the obvious increase in strength and build, those eyes look so much more tired, even with those glasses helping to hide it. It's a pity that someone with his strength is wasting their time on something as pointless as exorcising curses 'for the greater good', or whatever they say tell themselves it's all for. But he can't be too sad - once he creates his ideal world, all sorcerers, Nanami included, would be free. Even if they hated him for it and refused to thank him, knowing they wouldn't have to suffer any longer was enough for him. He clicks his tongue - perhaps it's best not to linger on his status as a wanted criminal for too long. "I heard that you dropped sorcery to try and live normally for a few years - but now you're back, huh. Did monkey life not treat you well? Or is it truly just impossible to escape the world of jujutsu once you're in it?"
