         her time with calamity ganon was tiresome, lonely, & bleak   ;   yet it brought forward time lost   ---   years in the past. she walks the halls of vah ruta, hand gently touching the riveting walls.  her voice is gentle, soft   ---   sweet .  she knows where she is, she just came from medoh, this process is cookie-cutter.

During and post-game, Link’s mental state is in an unsteady place. Even though he goes through the trials to remember certain things during his journey in the game, he does not remember everything. There are some swaths of his life that are still missing, and those gaps put him into strange states sometimes.

He is prone to nightmares, and can suffer some PTSD symptoms from past fights, and specifically his death.

His amnesia can also leave him disoriented and confused, or feeling overwhelming emotions for seemingly no reason.

He has a long way to go to find true recovery, and he will need help to do this in a healthy way.

Zelda is barely able to contain the surprised squeak that leaves her at the sudden appearance of the spirit -- perhaps one of the most undignified displays she had given in front of someone who wasn’t Link. The Zora spirit had appeared before her a few feet away, bent at the waist in a bow as he addressed her by name and title. “O-oh my,” She leans forward to grab the sides of the console, trying her best to calm her nerves as the adrenaline rushed through her veins. “Are you .. ?” Surprise slowly begins to fade away, a realization dawning in her wide eyes. “The first Champion of the Zora? P-Please! There is no need to bow!” Zelda scrambles to straighten herself. “There’s so much I would love to talk to you about!”
