Deep down, Amarant is kind of sappy and romantic and if he's ever in a relationship with someone, he kind of goes out of his way to do things for them. He's kind of inexperienced in that area, though, so there's also a bit of awkwardness.

Earning Amarant's trust is rather difficult, but once it's earned, he's fiercely and unquestionably loyal to them. Very few have broken his trust and lived to tell about it.
